Mid-Year Power Pause: Re-flect. Re-set. Re-focus.

Thursday, August 4, 2022
4:00PM PT / 7:00PM ET, 90 Minutes
Location: Virtual

We are inviting all of our 2022 WILpower participants and WILpower community to an evening event where best-selling author, and transformational leadership advisor, Christine Arylo, will take us through a mini mid-year Power Pause experience to ensure we close out the back half of the year strong. First, you’ll start by reflecting on all you have achieved this year (it’s more than you think). Then, the practice of creative inquiry, we’ll tap into the possibilities for how you could spend your time, energy and resources, professionally and personally, so where you focus creates more of the reality you actually desire this second half of the year.

The Power Pause is a leadership and personal sustainability best practice for creating sustainable success and wellbeing. Christine, MBA, developed this process by marrying her twenty five years of business experience with her decades of study in the timeless wisdom traditions, which teaches us how to harmonize our lives and work to the natural earth cycles as a way to bring more balance and flow. In this interactive session, she’ll lead us through a self-reflective and creative process to: 1. Receive insight that empowers us to strengthen our careers, businesses, health, wealth, relationships and wellbeing; 2. Gain clarity on how to spend our energy and resources the next 6 months and 3. Gain the ability to stop fragmenting our energy and stretching ourselves too thin.

Speaker:
Christine Arylo, Conscious Leadership Advisor, Consultant, and best-selling author of Overwhelmed and Over It

Impact Storytelling

Wednesday, May 4, 2022
4:00pm PT / 7:00PM ET, 75 Minutes
Location: Virtual

Every LWT woman has a story to share – but some of us still freeze when asked to “tell me about yourself…,” or when interviewing, speaking with senior leadership, or in other high-stakes moments.

If you struggle to tap into your experience or to tell meaningful and impactful stories to achieve your goals, then this special evening event is for you.

Katherine Kennedy will be with us and help us access our most compelling stories, organize them for maximum impact, and deliver our message in the most effective way possible! Katherine will share an easy to follow narrative structure called “The Three Cs” and demonstrate how to use this flexible and powerful tool. Join us!

You’ll also have time in breakout rooms to get to know other LWT women and to practice your story in a low pressure situation. By the end of the event, you’ll feel more comfortable and capable of telling your own unique stories. Remember: the person who can tell her story wins every time!

Katherine Kennedy, Speech Coach & Storytelling Expert

  • Annual review? Check.

  • Elevator speech? Check.

  • Self-advocacy? Check.

Of course, some LWT women are part of the Great Resignation (or Great Awakening!), and actually need an effective tool to convey their excellence. If this is you, then it’s not just a strategic or conceptual event, it’s a practical one.

Join our resume expert (and LWT President) for advice and instruction on how to Polish your Resume!
